Zirikiain Studio was founded in 2018 in San Sebastián as a branding and art direction space where design, culture, and personal experience blend seamlessly. Behind the studio are Xabi Zirikiain and Mariana Santos, a creative duo with a broad perspective and a strong connection to culture.

Xabi has spent decades developing projects at the intersection of music, surfing, architecture, and visual culture. He was the founder and creative director of Loreak Mendian for 25 years, as well as co-founding the Surfilm Festibal and collaborating with Wavegarden from its inception, creating brand identities, spaces, and experiences.

Mariana began her journey in 2003, also linked to Loreak Mendian, and over the years she came to lead its creative side. In 2017 she moved to Senegal, where she promoted cultural and artistic projects, and since then she has lived between Senegal and San Sebastián, working closely with Xabi in the studio.

Since Estudio Zirikiain, they have collaborated with brands and institutions such as Burton, Birkenstock, Vans, Camper, Mugaritz, Sónar or the Josef Albers Foundation, always with a very careful and coherent approach.

More than a typical studio, it's a way of working: creating honest, meaningful identities designed to last.
